Mölltaler Gletscher

Just a few kilometres from the village of Flattach in the heart of the Hohe Tauern, there is the Mölltal glacier. The alpine natural landscape is geographically characterised by the permanent ice, attracting not only skiers but also hikers and mountaineers. Within minutes, you can reach the interchange station via the Gletscher Express funicular, from where there are many options for high-altitude hikes. Those who do not want to walk or have less time can take the Eissee cable car up to 2,800 metres a.s.l. and enjoy magnificent panoramic views.
