About resort
Szczyrk Mountain Resort is one of the largest ski and bike resorts in Poland. Located in the Silesian Beskid on the slopes of the peaks Małe Skrzyczne 1211 m above sea level and Wierch Pośredni 1000 m above sea level, it is an excellent choice for tourists from the Silesian and Lesser Poland agglomerations, as well as southern neighbors from the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The winter resort is more than 23 km of varied slopes (including 5 km of illuminated), which means that every fan of skiing will find something for themselves here. Since the 2017 season, thanks to the cooperation with the Central Sports Center and Beskid Sport Arena, resort clients can use a common skipass for nearly 40 km of trails.
The resort has a modern 10-person gondola railroad and three 6-person chairlifts, one of which is the chairlift to Zbojnícka Kopa, which is particularly popular among beginner skiers. This railroad allows smooth travel between the Szczyrk Mountain Resort and the Central Sports Center on Skrzyczne.
Szczyrk Mountain Resort is a year-round mountain resort. Its summer version is the Szczyrk Enduro Trails by TREK bike park - a complex of 16 km of enduro paths, which has been popular with cyclists from the first day. Paths with varying levels of difficulty appeal to both experienced riders and people who are taking their first cycling steps in the mountains. Especially since going to the start of the routes does not require physical fitness, because each of them can be reached by a modern cable car. The black route, which was used for downhill World Cup competitions, is particularly popular. Szczyrk Mountain Resort is also a great base for hiking in the Silesian Beskids. A comfortable gondola lift to Hala Skrzyczeńska allows you to easily get to an altitude of 1,000 m above sea level. From Hala Skrzyczeńska you can take a bus even higher to Zbójnicka Kopa. The mountain approaches around Szczyrk are not difficult, so tourists can often meet families with small children. From the peaks there are views of the mountain ranges of Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, such as the Tatra Mountains, Mała Fatra and Babia Góra. The center offers mountain and electric bike rentals and a bicycle school. You can also take advantage of the gastronomic offer. There is a scenic Kuflonka Restaurant on Hala Skrzyczeńska, and barbecue dishes, snacks and drinks are served at the lower station of the gondola lift.
