Do I have to own a chip card to make purchases with Gopass?
Plastic keycards are not necessary when shopping in the www.gopass.travel online shop, but they are essential when using ski passes, resort packages provided by TMR, a.s. hotels and cable car tickets (in Austrian resorts), as they allow turnstile access. If you don’t own a plastic card yet, you will be prompted to purchase it and pick it up when buying a product requiring the Gopass card. For other products and services, the digital Gopass card in your mobile device can be used. Each Gopass card is personalised and non-transferable. In Slovak, Czech and Polish mountain resorts, the QR code included in your purchase confirmation is required to use cable cars as a pedestrian.
