Visit the Tatras Tower, Slovakia’s highest-altitude lookout tower, located at 1,367 metres above sea level. Step-free access takes you all the way to a glass viewing platform, 53 metres above the ground. Your ticket also includes a ride on the Solisko Express chairlift to Predné Solisko at an altitude of 1,814 metres, with spectacular views of Mt Kriváň, Štrbské pleso (tarn) and Mt Kráľova hoľa.

  • The tower stands out with its unique design, thanks not only to its striking, airy architectural form, but also to its step-free access and innovative construction method.
  • The tower is 53 m high, making it one of the tallest in Europe and, by far, the highest-located lookout tower of its kind, with its entrance at an altitude of 1,367 m above sea level.
  • The walkable section is made of wood, while the walkway at the top of the tower leads to a viewing platform with a net. At the very tip of the platform, a glass floor awaits 50 metres above the ground.
  • Your adventure among the clouds can also include a 61 m-long dry slide, which offers a fun way to shorten your journey back down. Its operation depends on the operator’s decision and current conditions. The slide is not open when the outdoor temperature is below 5 °C.
  • The cable car ticket is valid for a specific day during the operating hours of the cable cars. Information about the operating hours can be found at vt.sk.
  • The ticket is non-transferable and valid for one person only.
  • The selected ticket for the chosen route can be used once only. With a return ticket, the cable car can be used once uphill and once downhill. The ticket is not valid for the whole day.
  • Mountain insurance is not included in the cable car ticket.
  • Customers who have purchased High Tatras pedestrian tickets online via www.gopass.travel need a QR code to pass through the turnstile.
  • The QR code can be found in the purchase confirmation email.
  • At the turnstile, the QR code must be scanned from the purchase confirmation. You can either bring a printed copy with you or scan it directly from your mobile phone.
